In light of the recent COVID-19 (Corona virus) developments:

  • I, Jean Pelloat, Mayor of the Town of Madisonville, as of this date, March 13, 2020, hereby make an emergency declaration for the entirety of the Town due to the public health emergency existing in the State of Louisiana as a result of the imminent threat posed to Louisiana citizens by COVID-19. This follows the parish president and governor's own declarations. This declaration is a procedural process that enables the Town to better coordinate with local parish, state or federal resources necessary to support public safety.
  • Town Hall has been closed to the public until 4/13/2020 or further notice. Please make payments by phone at 985-200-0615, online at www.townofmadisonville.org, or at the town hall drop box located by entrance doors.
  • Town hall business are Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:00 pm.
  • The Police Station is closed to the public until 5/15/2020. Call 985-845-3393 for assistance in non-emergencies.
  • The Madisonville Museum is closed until 5/15/2020.
