- Ordinance increasing Town Council and Mayor salary beginning July 1, 2024 was passed unanimously.
- Roland Morris and Myron Bourg were recognized for their years on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
- Amy Arnoult and Bill Ollendike were appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
- Mayor Pelloat and Parish President Mike Cooper both acknowledged Mr. Peter Gitz for his 40 years of service as Mayor by Proclamation, also confirmed September 13th for ever more to be "Peter Gitz Day"!
- September 17th we will be changing credit card processors, which will require everyone that has stored credit card information in our customer portal, or if they are drafted by credit card, to re-input their information into the portal.
- Traffic Signs and rumble strips will be implemented on trial through Town.
