The installation of raised electrical pedestals 

The Town is pleased to announce the installation of raised electrical pedestals along the Riverfront wharf, designed to provide safe and reliable power to vessels and for use by the general public.  These new pedestals meet updated electrical code requirements to prevent electrical leakage, ensuring the highest safety standards.  Please note that older vessels may not be compatible with the new pedestals, as non-compliant equipment will cause breakers to trip.  This Project is consistent with the guidelines of the Town’s Master Plan and represents the Town’s continuing commitment to the beautification and safety of the Town.
